Boomers have the temperament of children. We know trying to change a boomer's mind can result in them taking it VERY personally. This stubbornness isn't some old person wisdom. Like most of the shared boomer personality traits, it's them choosing to stay ignorant. This willful ignorance makes them resistant to direct discussions about any delusional boomer beliefs they might have.

A common misunderstanding that should just be a quick explanation can turn into them interrupting to tell you how they read that all teenagers will be dead in 5 years from the popcorn lung or whatever insane thing they believe. This happens because when boomers go on the internet, they get sucked into clickbait ads that say things like "scientists couldn't believe what happened after he put a drop of THIS in his dickhole." Next to an animated gif of a guys cock growing from 1cm to 18 inches.

We can't keep trying to change these moron's minds through basic 1+1=2 reasoning. As stated before, boomers have the temperament of children. You don't try to explain to a little kid that they can't go to the concert because the industry has been monopolized and artificially inflates ticket prices. This would just confuse and upset the kid even more. Like kids, you don't want to hit boomers with too much information at once or they will treat it as a personal attack. We must treat boomers the way they treated their kids, not by trying to reason with them, but by socially engineering and manipulating them.

How do we know this method works on boomers? Because it already has. Blm didn't make white grandmas stop calling the cops when a black kid walked down their street. But the fear of being called one word changed this completely overnight and still strikes fear into middle aged women everywhere. The word? Karen. Since boomers are mentally children, this name calling had the power to make them drop one of their favorite hobbies: not minding their business. This is the only noticeable positive change in boomers I've seen in my entire lifetime. The goal of Boomer PSA is to invade boomer echo chambers like facebook with ads like the one at the top of this page. We need to hold boomers responsible for their actions. Not by sending them to the guillotine or eating them, real change via clearly articulated judgment of them for selling their kid's and grandkid's souls so they could be greedy alcoholics that live for a hundred years. No matter how evil an individual boomer may be, they'd never want their grandchildren to see them in that light. I know that if my grandparents thought I viewed them this way, they would drop everything to become a respectable human being in their grandchild's eyes again. 

This strategy is much more likely to stop someone's CEO grandparent from dumping even more toxic waste into our drinking water. Especially compared to screaming about them outside a government building. They probably aren't even inside. Usually they're busy vacationing with our money. And now, with social media advertisements, just $10 can pay for thousands of these online ads. For the younger generation, this new form of charity finally gives us the power to make a real difference.
